I require full payment upfront before starting any work.

You need to make sure you are in an adequate financial situation to purchase your commission ; once you commit to the purchase, refunds request will be denied.

I am open to discussing a 50/50 payment plan option depending on your personal situation, but i reserve the final right to accept or not, and additional ToS will apply based on your specific situation.

I am open to discussing partial refund under very specific and special circumstances (ex : unexpected and expensive vet bill)

If you are a returning customer and I see a pattern of asking for special circumstances refunds, I reserve the right to start refusing to do business with you past a certain point.

Refunds on finished pieces are not allowed under ANY circumstance.

Refunds available on unfinished commissions after sixteen (16) weeks ( four (4) months) have passed.

Partial refunds are available if you feel disappointed in your commission, or if you feel it is subpar to what I usually advertise ; I will operate on a case by case basis, and reserve the final right to refuse a partial refund.

If you request major changes after the final sketch is approved, you will have to pay additional fees based on the amount of work required.

Providing WIPs past the approval of the main sketch is optional and at my discretion ; you may request to see future WIPs when you order the commission.

If you request to see WIPs, you might request specific changes (flat colors / markings) once per WIP sent, and at the same time ; any additional change request or major change (past the sketch approval) will incur additional fees.

Minor edits are allowed once the final piece is provided ; all major changes will incur additional fees.

Additional changes (ex :re-sketching) or waiting for correspondence may delay the delivery time. If you fail to communicate on time and your personal deadline passes, it does not entitle you to a refund.

Any left out detail from the original order might be added at an additional fee ; If I forget about a key detail that was included in the original order, the revision will be made for free.

You are allowed to trade artworks I made of your character if you end up selling them.

Images of your character you have bought can be resold / traded. the selling price can be increased if you sell it alongside other artworks commissioned from me (among other things), unless we have a special arrangement.

Images of your character can be revamped.

you have the right to ask another artist to revamp your character, as long as it is new art and not an edit of my art.

Icons / tags purchased from me can be used on any website, as long as credit is provided, Unless you have purchased the commercial rights to your image, which will have been discussed as per the general ToS.

Reposting art you purchased from me is allowed on any website and necessitates a link to my website or personal gallery, Unless you have purchased the commercial rights to your image, which will have been discussed as per the general ToS.

You may request that your commission remain private (i.e. not posted publicly on social media, portfolio, personal website, etc.) at the condition that it is disclosed in the original commission request.

If you cannot afford a private commission, it is possible to ask that your name be left uncredited on my socials / in my galleries. Your commission will be marked as ‘anonymous’ and unlisted.

Private commissions will include an additional 25% fee.

The additional fee will not be refundable, even if you decide to make your private commission public afterwards or during the process.

You must keep my signature if you repost your personal commission in public ; you may request for a non-signed version for personal use only and if you are a returning client.

Any possible dispute will employ the use of Canadian Law as the choice of law.

I remain in possession of the rights of all artwork you commission. This does not extend to selling prints of your commissioned artwork or redistributing it for money ; it will mostly be used for portfolio display and in copyright infringement cases if the artwork is stolen.

If you wish to purchase the commercial rights to your artwork, it is possible to discuss the terms while purchasing it, or after ; additional fees will apply in both cases.

Trading services, bartering or paying another artist to edit my work is forbidden.

I reserve the right to either deny or refund anyone making me uncomfortable in the process of acquiring the commission.

This does not apply to gender identity / sexual identity matters or anything related to the expression of your basic human rights ; if you publicly advertise content or opinions that are either harmful or hateful or both, however, I reserve the right to refuse doing business with you.
